Carol Berman, MSW, LCSW works with adults and has dedicated much of her career to addressing social isolation across lifespan, with a particular focus on senior adults.
Grounded in a strengths-based approach, Carol integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, CBT, and solution-focused therapy, as well as creative and alternative approaches such as drama, music, art, and mindfulness. Carol places great importance on the therapeutic alliance, viewing the collaborative relationship between client and therapist as a cornerstone of meaningful and effective therapy.
In addition to individual work, Carol strongly believes in the power of group therapy as a space for connection, shared learning, and healing. Both individual and group therapy offer clients the opportunity to develop social and emotional tools that support resilience, insight, and coping through life’s challenges.

“Carol Berman has been an exceptional therapist. She is compassionate, attentive, and truly skilled at creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Her approach is thoughtful and practical, and she tailors her guidance to what is most helpful and relevant in the moment. Carol listens carefully, offers meaningful insights, and helps you build tools that are actually useful in real life. I have felt supported, respected, and encouraged throughout my work with her. I would highly recommend Carol Berman to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring behavioral health professional.”

“What I especially like about Carol is she isn’t the kind that says, ‘well what do you think’. She talks things out, offers perspective, and makes you laugh! She is relatable and kind! Highly recommend!”
